Today was catch-up day—catch up on yard work and on rest. Sounds like an oxymoron, doesn’t it? It kind of is, but follow my reasoning.

~By getting a few to-do’s off our list, I felt a sense of relief. We’re not as far behind as we were yesterday.

~Also the act of working outside is life-giving to me. I love being outside. Looking outside from the inside and not being able to enjoy the outside frustrates me.

Working outside and relaxing outside both refresh me physically and in my spirit.

And I am so thankful for my husband, Gene, who does his best to make my plans and ideas reality—the deck set up today and tomorrow two more yard projects.
