I can’t wait to show you the full picture of what Gene is doing in this picture. It’s a surprise for the kids when they are here at staycation next month so no more pictures until afterwards.

I’m not terribly creative, especially compared to the rest of the family. So when one of my projects turns out Pinterest-worthy, I do my happy dance (on the inside, of course, because I can’t dance either!).

The icing on my cake is Gene’s support and enthusiasm for whatever I come up with. Even if he or one of the kids could do it better, he never says so. He is ready to help however he can. For reasons I do not understand it always requires a power tool of some kind.

That’s it for today. We are both pretty tired. After he worked on Kels’ house and I took care of The Grand in the morning, we worked on staycation preparations. A normal Saturday for us.
