I continue to be challenged by the words—life-giving. Yesterday I listened to Anita Lustrea’s podcast. She and her guest, Sharon Swing—discussed in part that which is life-giving. It was a helpful and thought-provoking discussion.
Being the writer person that I am, I followed Anita and Sharon’s prompt and started a few lists in my journal—
- What is life-giving to me?*
- What is life-draining to me?*
- What are my life-giving rhythms?*
- Am I life-giving to myself and others? In what ways?
Today was a busy day of errands, appointments, phone calls, etc. It would be easy for me to miss the life-giving part of my day. Sitting in a waiting room I worked on my lists. What is life-giving to me?
- My time outside on our deck on the porch swing.
- These crazy two dogs as.
- Writing this short, end-of-the day blog.
These things and many more add joy, grace, and peace to my life. Being mindful of what is life-giving makes me love my life even more and be forever thankful to God.
Think about what is life-giving to you. Maybe even listen to Anita’s podcast and let me know what you think.
