This little guy was perfect today. We had a wonderful day. His mama, daddy, Pops, Grandpa, and other family members worked on his new home. But we played.

There is something about being with him—how he looks in my eyes deeply like he’s trying to communicate to me and looking for me to communicate with him through my eyes. It’s really something, especially in this world where fewer and fewer of us look at each other face-to-face.

For The Grand his world is face-to-face. I hope that never changes for us. I hope we will always have an eye-to-eye relationship. He is so precious. I look forward to growing in relationship with him as I grow older and he grows up.
