I wish I could tell you what made my day today. I am excited! But I can’t say anything—yet. It may not come to fruition, but it is a yes for the next step.

If you have followed my blog for any length of time, you know I often talk about following the breadcrumb trail. Today’s news was God laying down another morsel. I will follow it. We will see where this trail goes.

After many years of following God’s breadcrumb trail, I finally learned it doesn’t matter where it goes. What matters is for me to know God better in the journey and to become more of the person He designed me to be.

On the next leg of our journey this will be my focus—know God better, grow more into the person He designed me to be. This person will not doubt what God put in her to do or say. She will rest in Him. She will be herself and lean on the guidance of God.

As I always tell my kids, “We’ll have fun!”
