Good Silly Fun

Today was lots of fun. I reaped the joy of all my preparation this week—being with the focus group women and my family. I loved every minute.

I took several pictures today. I posted a couple on Instagram. But this one is my favorite. It is not posed. Harvey plopped his little self down next to his Pops and together they watched Thomas the Train. Is there anything cuter than a grandfather and his grandson?

They are so fun to watch together. Harvey grew tired of Thomas the Train. He brought two tennis balls to Pops and, of course, Gene had to juggle them. Then Harvey tried to juggle.

Good silly fun—the gift of children to adults. Nothing transports me into fun faster than blowing bubbles with Harvey or chasing the soccer ball each time he kicks it down the driveway. Good silly fun. I’ve got to believe it’s as good for the adults as it is for the children.

Thank you, little boy, for keeping the Nana and Pops growing younger every time we are together.
