Another Delightful Day

This little boy was my day—my whole day. We played outside, went for a walk with Pops and the puppy, played inside, watched Daniel Tiger, and changed many diapers. Yep, I’ve written a blog similar to this one a few times. Each day with The Grand is an adventure—fun and fussies—even though we often do the same things.

Yet, Harvey still finds delight in connecting his train set, lining up the Peanuts characters, watching bubbles float, and gathering rocks outside.

Many of the details of my week are the same. But each day is a gift from God so it shouldn’t be hard to find delight in each day. That’s one blessing I’ve received in doing these daily (almost daily) blogs. I never know what words will appear when I start writing. As the words come, the delight in each day often surprises me, especially when I thought my day was pretty ordinary. These little delights are Jesus’ gifts to me.

It is my delight to share my day with you.

Thanks so much for reading.
